this is my first attempt of a project on photoshop, ive been working on it on and off in my free time for the last 6 months (photoshop crashing was was prompted me to finaly post it).


I reviewed the painting realistic hair tutorial by Linda bergkvist, and that helped me alot with painting the hair.

this was inspired by a short story I read a while back; 'Rappaccini's Daughter' by Hawthorne.
as you can see, i have much room for improvement, so if you have time to post a critique, i would be more than happy for advice, on the figure, possible ideas for the background, or anythign else you can think of. thanks
